These are treasures that need to be safeguarded and the UK Marine SACs Project will play a major role in achieving this. Marine Biological Association of the United Kingdom (MBA)
A professional body for marine biologists with some 1200 members world-wide. The current programme encourages fundamental research in marine biology by resident Fellows, interwoven with that of visiting scientists.
